This is just what it says it is, a bilingual newsletter put out by people who have escaped from various religious cults. “Ex-members, or cult survivors, are the original experts on cults, and their voices should be heard.” This issue has an article by a man who joined and eventually escaped from the Worldwide Church of God, the folks who put out that Plain Truth magazine. The rest of the issue is considerably less interesting, focussing mainly on changes to the newsletter and on vague generalities. But, given the gripping subject matter, this is a publication that is probably well worth following for anyone with an interest in cults or religious extremism. (KR)
