Pagans For Peace

Want to stay in touch with the latest developments in Canada’s Wiccan (witch) community? Well, this is for you. Most of this is concerned with who in the group has done what lately. There’s a few book reviews, a few letters, pretty boring stuff, really. But there are a couple of provocative articles, at least to those outside the faith. One speculates about how the religion will adjust to deal with the influx of teens expected as information about wichcraft becomes more available (the article says teen participation is a good thing). Another article criticizes those who would distance themselves from Satanism (the religion, apparently, not the lunatic child-killers that may or may not be infiltrating every small town and X-files episode in North America), explaining that witchcraft and Satanism have common roots. I’m sure this newsletter is interesting for those already involved. I suspect it’s even more interesting for those of us who aren’t. (KR)
