The first Deathmatch contenders have finished their round and Claire Ferris has taken the win! George Ian Thomas was leading the percentage for nearly four days, but with less than an hour left on the clock, Ferris scrounged together enough voters to make the pass. Ferris moves on to the semi-finals, and waits for her next opponent to be decided with the Feb 6th match-off.
This week, Glyn Rebl steps into the ring against Samantha Bernstein. Rebl’s story, The Liberator, follows one person’s break-up with his drunken buffoon of a friend. In Bernstein’s The Neighbour a guy with a habit of people watching takes extra notice of the new girl from down the block. There’s enough pep in both stories to expect another tight scoreboard.
