Zygote

You want “something different, something new and something totally cheeky. Well, by gum, that’s what you’re going to get.” Year two. Zygote. Some good stories. Some not so good. Some good parts. (“Donna was clearing the supper table when she realized her son had been missing for three years.”) Some bad parts. Don’t read the poetry. Why the Zycolumns? You know, if you guys put your address at the front of the mag somewhere, instead of burying it in a subscription plea at the back, maybe you’d get enough fiction that you wouldn’t have to publish those lame columns. That column about the beer – I don’t get it. It’s like a column by a guy who lives in Winnipeg about how to make beer. And the book reviews. Honestly, do we need more of those kind of book reviews? Blah.
