XYZed

This is the split-zine with diet society, so it’s really a half of what a whole one of these would be like — you got that? Anyway, it’s an altogether fine one word following another in an easy to read type-writer lookin’ way kinda zine. The theme here is definitely cultural product. An article bemoans the lack of cool cartoons. Now I don’t mean to get feisty, and I know what he means and all, but there are still some pretty wild cartoons out there — hey Anxiety what about Ren and Stimpy? Butthead and Bevis? The Simpsons? The Tick? Everyone should send in their list of favourite cartoons to Anxiety. Other than that, the usual affable hodge-podge of video store oldies, zine and music reviews. This zine distinguishes itself through its lively reviewing. Nothing earth shattering, but a fine review of Escape From The Planet of The Apes is not as easy to come by as you might think.
