Well-drawn comic from dorkboy mini-comic creator Damian out in Alberta. Workin’ Jones starts off limping along at a pace you’d think everybody’s life moves at. Jones gets up and goes to work. In between that, he burns his toast, has to walk a block longer to get his bus, cringes as the elevator at work stops at every floor, etc. I read this and think: so it’s not just me? Jones continues to have minor problems – the kind you know eventually form a conglomerate known as Nervous Breakdown Inc. The story really starts moving along when Jones meets a homeless man named Frank, and begins to look for the answers to all those questions that run through his head while he sits in front of his computer terminal all day. Great atmospheric artwork and layout. Overall good read. (Michelle Emmanuel)
