Women’space

Why a magazine that seeks to encourage women to use and access the internet doesn’t at least have a web page is truly a mystery. However, that aside, they do jam a ton of articles on all sorts of Web sites and resources for women getting wired. Most of the sorts of things you’d expect get covered: supporting community health; The Ontario Women’s Justice Network; online support for battered women; disability websites. They review the sites and give you the html addresses, as well as advocate and encourage women to get online. Perhaps the real trick here though would be to get the mag online, because web addresses are fairly useless unless you’re hooked up in the first place, in which case you could just click on the sites they recommend.
