I’m happy to report that Waste of Ink is not really a waste of ink. In fact, there are some good comics in here, and some amusing poetry. I liked the feel of these little zines: text pasted into the crudely drawn cartoons, purposely cheesy poetry, and comments to Gabe’s friends. I felt like I has hanging out in Gabe’s messy basement. The best part about WOI is that tons of fun stuff is smushed together and overlapping to make some magnificent cut and paste masterpieces! In issue 1, Gabe wrote all the poems and did all the drawings, in issue 2 there are at least four contributors. (EPW)
