Voltage Magazine

I don’t have any clue what to make of Voltage Magazine. It doesn’t seem to have any coherent purpose in life other than to gather together under one domain name a bunch of articles that have absolutely nothing in common with each other. The current issue starts with a fitness column on what to eat after a workout. It then jumps to an article on how American tourists can avoid getting bombed by terrorists while traveling abroad. This is followed by a movie review of The Truman Show and a singles column on brunch dating etiquette. There’s a poem, a couple of jokes, and then a piece from a professional financial advisor on the benefits of asset allocation. This gets you about half way down the table of contents, and it only gets more obscure from here. I mean, what the hell is this? Either the air was particularly thin in Jasper this summer or the pot harvest was particularly good.
