The struggles of farm workers continue to be of concern. The quality of life of those whose labour is essential in order to put the food on my table is something that I can have an impact on by supporting their struggles. This newsletter includes info on the victory at Gallo Wines—after 27 years! It also features updates on the Washington apples and Pictsweet Mushrooms campaigns, news of labour conventions and info on resources available in the UFW office. Cesar Chavez, a founder and long time president of the UFW was a leading advocate of radical non-violence in the struggle for justice.
