Vincent is a bear with stitches running clear down the middle, so that as I read about his life, I am constantly worried that he will just fly right apart and the all the gore and stuffing will spew forward off the small cute talented illustrations we expect from Robin and right into our face making a mess and leaving us unable to continue reading and find out how Vincent is rescued by Robin from the thrift store and even worse leaving us feeling that a noble character like Vincent has died for really no reason.
