Vice

Vice

Vice has gotten rich. It used to be a little publication best known for its almost indecipherable design and virtually incomprehensible articles obsessed with sex. Well, it’s not a little publication anymore. It’s crammed full of expensive ads and it’s now distributed across North America. I don’t think North America is any the richer for it. Much of this issue is given over to an advertorial fashion layout, which about sums Vice up these days. The one article I liked was a writer who sent out false resumes advertising her skills at oral sex, her willingness to screw over fellow employees and her fervent anti_union stance. Not original, but funny. Everything else is just not original. (KR)
