If this CD is to be believed, the music of Alberta is as flat and monotonous as driving through the Trans Canada Highway. We all know better. Besides, it’s been compiled and released by an American Institution (the Smithsonian, for pete’s sake), so I suspect some sort of imperialist plot. On that basis alone, protest this compilation. Steal dozens of copies of it and throw them at the windows of your nearest American Embassy. U.S. pigs out of Alberta! No blood for oil! (Matt Collins)
