I think we’ve got a fairly out of date copy here, so look out for a newer issue. In the meantime, chalk this one up as a kinda punk, kinda activist, sort of US-focused music zine. The bread and butter of the issue is the interviews with Good Riddance and the Vandals and reviews of shows (Slow-Jam 3 last year at the Opera House, Against All Against Authority et al at Who’s Emma and Guy Smiley et al at the 360). The activist part comes in with a good bit about the ARA shutting down a neo-nazi show in Buffalo and the quick piece on jailed journalist Mamia Abu- Jamal. More cut and paste and a bit less America content would bump this up from okay to great. (HC)
