What a treat to recommend Mark’s little bookies of comics and fun. Wee! Take a ride with the character Rudy/Trudy through Mark’s daydreams and come out the other end with the diagnosis: weird. Take Mark’s advice “Just try to feel vague. Can you get that through your blockhead. See the words floating. Put them in your mouth. Mumble them and put what in your mouth…” That is indeed the best way to enjoy these political and personal comic-book gifts. Ultra Sommy does not include Mark’s usual cast of characters, but instead a whole host of more familiar, me-and-you-but-more-ethereal figures. (EPW)
