Tupperware Sandpiper

A good mix of poetry and (because it doesn’t exist in a vacuum) articles about poetry, starting with Is Poetry Fixed? in which an interview with Brick Books Publishing House takes aim at whether poetry is published because of real interest or as part of a quota. Store Wars explores the presence of chains like Chapters and the threat they pose to the independent publishing scene. The back cover reads: “Chapters: Screwing the Indie Bookstores One Block At a Time”. A final article about form and style of poetry and their interaction closes up the litzine. Interesting pictures, comics, and let’s not forget poetry. I especially liked “Confetti Dreams, in which the letters are strewn about the page. (PC)
