October 4, 1998. A date that will not live in particular infamy, except for two events. One: Canzine 98. Two: Our nice new website at our nice new domain name was hacked on only our third day live at that location. We were impressed to be so hated, until we found out that a couple of hundred sites at our service provider were attacked simultaneously through one vulnerable point (which they’d better have fixed by now, the weasels). Actually, our new web host had removed the offending page before any of us at Broken Pencil even saw it. However, we did find a mirror of the page that was posted in place of our own magnificent index.html at this hacker site in Sweden. In the interests of history, we direct you to it now. Enjoy. (DW)
