Resolutely DIY, post-Polvo guitar music from the streets of Montreal, yet there are no obvious connections to the Constellation Records constellation of artists? It had to happen sometime. Ooooh, this makes me want to break out my Sonic Youth albums. They’ve got the shaker-as-drum stick beat down pat and the guitar interplay (don’t you just love interplay?), but the vocals are way too Chicago (the city, not the band) for my liking. (Terence Dick)
