While not compelling reading, this newsletter would surely be a godsend to anyone recovering from their absorption into any kind of exploitive cult (the Solar Temple, Hare Krishna, Scientology, Details magazine, IBM, etc.) It’s bilingual, and its launch in Montreal was timely given the scandals around Solar Temple suicides and its infiltration of Hydro Quebec. For the outsider, it would be improved by more descriptive insights into how and why cults work.
