The Catpaw Chronicles

I like a site that isn’t afraid to cover a lot of ground. This very friendly and unpretentious e-zine doesn’t seem to have any particular aim in life other that to keep up a running commentary on “whatever captures our fancy at any particular moment.” So, you get a piece comparing Internet search engines followed by a wine column (about sucking down a $300 bottle of 1978 Chateau Lafite-Rothschild with a bag of Big Macs), a recipe for vitello tonnato Piedmontese, and a review of Star Wars. You also get a diary of one guy’s comedy of errors job hunt and some reviews of other websites. The site is clear and pleasant to look at as far as design goes. It won’t take you very long to get through everything in a given issue, but the site is updated weekly (more or less).
