The Bedsprings Talent Show CD is not as bouncy as its name, but it contains solid performances. Recorded during a house concert on June 19, 2004, this album is a simple recording of a low-key and intimate show. It comes with a pamphlet of comics and doodles. Jason relays a “story” about chemotherapy drugs. Jon-Rae Fletcher plays a spartan acoustic set with moments of forlorn country-flavoured jamming and yodeling. This album gives a better sense of his music and personality than his goofily earnest press photo that appears in publications like NOW Magazine. Kat Burns is a confident and percussive guitar player. Her lyrics are intriguing. She even name checks this publication in Closet Genius: “he’s been living at the edge, broken pencil marks in his arms.” Oh, maybe not. (Grace Ma)

I was curious if you ever thought of changing the structure of your website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or two pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
