Tape Gun fanzine is chock-full of indie rock goodness. This issue contains interviews with Emily K. Larned of Muffin Bones & Memory Town U.S.A., Dave Brainard of Little Princess & Time Stereo, and Kicking Giant rocker and artist Tae Won Yu. The Tae Won Yu piece is the neatest interview I’ve ever feasted my eyes upon. I am amazed by 5:17’s special knack for fonts and simple graphics-so understated, yet so visually tasty! Mmm mm good. Even better than the Tape Gun zine itself is the handy guide to Toronto that comes with it. This is an indispensable guide to all the eats, treats, sights and sounds you’d care bout. Maps included! Everyone I show this to immediately agrees that it’s cool. (MM)
