Systems of Metric Matter

This is a kind of deadpan mini-essay juxtaposed with totally great, intricate black and white drawings of angular humanoids with huge bodies and miniature heads doing things like talking on the telephone and going to the toilet. The text goes something like this: “Personal obsession is the crowning glory of life. The fetishes and inquiries that one encounters without outside manipulation are the most important things to recognize in life if you want to notice yourself for who you are.” Next to this advice is the pic where our pin-head man says: “I can flush. I can flush. I can. Yes I can.” This is inventive, entertaining, off-putting reading. (HN)
