Sweet Misery

This is a cynical footnote to the angst-ridden navel gazing of personal zines. Nothing more or less then a giant collection of fragmented magazine and newspaper clippings, it portrays mass media’s systematic denial of our capacity for free thought, for being, for anything. Only the brief message on the second page offers a clue to how we are intended to make sense of all the sour misery foisted upon us. Here Katharyn laments our preference for a world where free choice comes down to whether or not there’s a warning on the label. Read once and destroy. (HN)
