Brad has come a long way with his angst-ridden slacker gag panels, “cartoons for the loveable deadbeat in all of us”. Not only can you can see them regularly in Geist Magazine, but Brad is starting to stretch out his ideas, beginning to form relationships with the reader that go beyond the ironic veneer. His gags are taking longer to develop, and are funnier to read. They are also more sophisticated and dangerous. Most of Brad’s character are waiting to take over, but Brad wants them to realize that there is nothing to take over. Stay as you are, he suggests. Have another cup of coffee, he recommends. (HN)
