Sing A Song of Six Legs (and other creepy things)

A hugely enjoyable alphabet book that takes us across the letters to show us the correlation between stupid kids and their bugs. “Ss if for Suzy/and the Slug/she ingested.” “Dd is for Doris/as the dung beatles/approach.” The highly engaging text is dwarfed, naturally, by the graphic but not gory ink drawings of our favourite youngsters and their nemeses in the insect world. This dark reminder of the cohabitation between imagination and the natural world is recommended for adults of all ages.
