Let us shuffle through this zine together, for the kids of Ant records have plotted us a journey, and it is indeed less of a hike and more of a shuffle. The common-place format of band interviews, zine reviews and poetic weirdness works well here. Nothing in this zine is too long that it becomes over-bearing, or so well written that brevity becomes unfortunate. You just keep shuffling, one foot here, one foot there, a pause, a stupid but funny essay by a boring white guy who wishes he is gay, an interview with Amy Baker of Dollface that reveals the origin of the mighty Angry Beaver…keep your feet moving….some answers from Ant recording artist Thalidomide Motornerve of Ottawa the answers sound kinda funny and pompous but that’s okay because so do the questions we’re just shuffling by, hop skip jump swish swish the sound of feet on pages.
