Shebytches: What It Means To Be A Bytch!

This zine made me feel like a million bucks. Really, it was the best non-caffeinated pick-me-up that I’ve had all day. What It Means To Be A Bytch is a zine that, if summed up in a word, celebrates empowerment, particularly of women. The pages are filled with photo collages, poetry and personal stories, all written by women who embrace their inner bytch. But just what is a bytch? And who fits the criteria? Well, the answer isn’t simple, which is why an entire zine has been dedicated to providing insight into “bytchdom.” What remains consistent in the many definitions, however, is that it’s someone who helps those less fortunate, is constantly reinventing herself and yet still remains true to her “self”. It’s about celebrating you and doing so on your terms. Ladies, grab your girlfriends with one arm and the Haagen-Dazs with the other: this zine will make you laugh, it’ll make you cry, but most importantly, it will make you walk with your head up just a little bit higher.
