School Dayz: The Misadventures of Jason Soup
To paraphrase George Orwell (I think), grade school is like a sneaker stomping on your face, endlessly. Jason Soup is our elementary Winston Smith glumly working his way through the Kafkesque horrors of childhood, tormented by sadistic teachers, humiliating exercises and pointless, petty punishments. A ten year old could have drawn this, which makes it that much more melancholic. Poor kid, don’t anyone tell him it only gets worse.(TD)
