Red & Black Notes

This issue is from last summer, so some of it is out of date. It’s interesting to see what appears to be either a Marxist or anarchist publication defending Ontario organized labour for not being revolutionary and criticizing workers for voting Tory. But that and talk of worker solidarity, a jargon-ridden article on the masses and the vanguard, a piece on the failure of various General Motors labour negotiations and a review of an anarchist anthology are all we get. It’s not enough. It’s not really anything in particular, in fact. Even with more focus and more articles of general interest, I’m not convinced we would need this newsletter. The one article that gives me some hope is a joke quiz that’s actually kind of funny. (KR)
