Edmonton’s increasingly active Small Press Association has put out the thirteenth Prairie Jam, a round-up of local comic talent. Some so-so super-hero and sci-fi stuff and a great little strip by Diego Ubarra and Michael Gushue called The Best Summer Ever, sort of a Lord of the Flies kinda thing, with a soldier hanging from the trees by a parachute while being prodded and fed worms by a bunch of sadistic eight year-olds.
