Poem

rob mclennan always does interesting stuff, particularly in terms of visual presentation. It all looks like it was typed on a bad typewriter, with the paper rolled in at an angle. mclennan was the winner of the 1999 CAA/Air Canada Award for Most Promising Writer under 30, the only non-cash prize, as mclennan himself points out, administered by the Canadian Authors Association. He’s a funny guy, this rob mclennan, and he injects everything he does with a healthy dose of cynicism. Sometimes the content of his work isn’t so great, but it all looks so good. (KS)
