Opuntia

Opuntia is fascinatingly dull. Lots of obscure stuff here that went right over my head. Issue 48 includes a history of blotting paper (with footnotes, thank gawd). Issue 48.1A & 48.1B offer lots of zine reviews/listings (some very, very interesting stuff covered). Overall, Opuntia doesn’t surrender itself easily. It feels very administrative, but with lots of thought behind it. Librarians and brainy file clerks would probably like it a lot. (Shaun Smith)
