The documentary RiP! A Remix Manifesto examines copyright laws, creative commons and remix culture while pushing the agenda of the copy left. The creators of this film developed a site that further pushes this agenda by allowing viewers to remix their film through the tools built into the site. Through Open Source Cinema, even users who don’t have editing software can create and edit videos online or remix pre-existing media. (Lindsay Gibb)
