One-Way Glass

One-Way Glass

A well-drawn, unpretentious collection of short comic stories about the ordinary lives of young people. From the opening explanation of why it’s taken Ryan a year to produce this issue, through stories of a squeegee kid, young punks and a young woman working as a bartender, every story here is consistently interesting. There’s a gentle humour and a real affection for the protagonists here, and Ryan uses his stories to offer little insights that we can all relate to. (KR)
