Ohbijou, Swift Feet for Troubling Times

I dig this in so many ways, from the elegant letter- pressed covers to the dreamy harmonies and airy melodies that keep my mind uplifted as I go about my kitchen duties. My wife digs it too, which is great because I can listen to it while she’s around, unlike most of the stuff I like. My daughter doesn’t dig it because she’s only into Mary Poppins and Cuban Jazz these days, but one day I hope she will. One day, I hope she’ll write a song like St. Francis and sing like Casey Mecija and ask me to play rhythm guitar in her almost all-girl band. That would make me very happy indeed. (Terence Dick)
