Of Clean Living

This uniquely wacky love story has a young attitude, seems occasionally offensive to women (or is this ‘girl power’?) and includes violence. There are more than enough elements to entice and sustain reading it to the end: a/ because it’s not so long as to make me want to pitch it into a fire, b/ because the story flows generally well. “Mary worked at a place called Taco Haven, a job she’d taken to stay out of trouble, (because we all know what kind of trouble girls aged 15 – 45 can get into.) For the most part Mary hated working at Taco Haven…” Other characters include self-reflexive boyfriend “improvisation” Kyle, and a Nazi math teacher. (PVP)
