An english translation sheet includes all the comics, but not the text. The comics reviewed and excerpted here run the gamut of styles from Heavy Metal’s heyday to current underground. In one, a man complains about a hair in his soup, and the waiter says, “you don’t complain when you are eating out of your wife’s cunt!” Har har. The varying types of art and storylines indicate a thorough review of European comix, and they’re all worth seeing. The back cover is beautiful: a dead soldier on the ground, and his killer stands with a rifle, looking at the huge escaping spirit of his victim. (Flick Harrison)
