I’m not a big fan of electronic music and I’ve never heard of Kraftwerk. This is the special Kraftwerk issue. But Gary actually made me care. He did a good job of informing me of the influence and importance of Kraftwerk to electronica fans. He has lots of info about Kraftwerk, including comments from other musicians and sources. I also liked the Atlantic focus of this zine. I liked how Gary chose to do an interview with Josh, a dj from Rothesay, and another interview with a dj from Halifax. I think there are interesting and different challenges that take place when a person is from a smaller centre. There were some things about this zine that I couldn’t get into, simply because I don’t know a lot and I’m not a fan of electronic music. But I assure you that electronic music and Kraftwerk fans would definitely be into this. However, Gary should use a much bigger font because the small print got on my nerves. (AK)
