Nightwaves

As my winamp playlist slowly burns off, Aphex-Twin comes on, then Squarepusher, then the feeling as I read Nightwaves that I don’t know shit about the electronic underground. Nightwaves is a great Canadian electronic music resource celebrating its fifth year of existence. Flannagan fills his pages with interviews, reviews and articles covering everything to scour the electronic and analogue depths of this music genre. Nightwaves includes little bits of poetry, artwork and photography mingling amongst the rest, which is refreshing for those not completely familiar with all the tech-talk. This zine is a great, cheap (free!) resource for those into electronic music or, like myself, just skirting the surface. (James King)
