In the intro, you the gentle reader are welcomed to partake of “yet another fine collection of fun, frivolity and Mesopotamian folklore for your reading pleasure.” What they are referring to are the anecdotes and ponderations (ie. Does Prince watch Little House?), the ‘zine and CD reviews, the interviews with Thrush Hermit and Paul MacLeod, and of course the comic strip and the illustrated guide to feeling more Icelandic (in tribute to Bjork who’s show is also reviewed in these pages.) In fine ‘zine fashion they include some vintage advertising like “Be Taller Instantly” which sold high heels to men with the promise of uplifting their social lives. This ‘zine supports it’s local scene and is a good humoured whack at the cat, so to speak.
