Melt the Snow

This personal zine is in its 10th incarnation–a personal feat in zineland! The theme of this issue is flux and mutability–good change, bad change, change that hardly gets noticed until one day you wake up to realize you’re not the same person–changes in moods, interests and thoughts. This zine is a reflection of what that old Greek sage, Heraclitus once said: “You never put your foot in the same river twice.” Melt the Snow #11 is a travelogue of sorts, outlining Teri’s visit to Greece to visit a small family home on the island of Agistri, all the while navigating the complicated emotions that arise during visits home and meeting relatives you hardly know. Interesting reading here. I’m captivated by the opportunity to listen in on Teri’s musings over her family, her travels and friends. Great personal zine that shows originality, warmth and progression. (RT)
