Adventures of an urban pirate, tales of cashiers close encounters of the gross com_on kind, a review section and much much more. I found this zine entertaining. There’s a lot of variety so it keeps ‘the clicker’ mind happy. Particularly touching was the ‘Tales of Testosterone’ story by Veronica where she shares the horror of being kissed by a big burly man as he purchases Valentine stuffs at the drugstore. I know of many women who could tell similar tales of testosterone. Perhaps it should become a regular column! Other points of interest include a rant on the Orientalism of “The Corruptor” which is described as ‘ narrow Chinatown streets and gambling and painted Triad leaders in Turkish baths and Dragon Ladies with pointy eyebrows in cheongsmas and Mark Wahlberg’s scary, pasty butt pumping away.’ There’s also a poetry section, some queer Archie comics, BACTERIA, and Virus girl.
