For several years, this mix of base humor and crude comics was published as a free 8 or 12 pager, and now it has made the leap to a glossy-covered newsstand mag (though I understand the smaller freebies will continue). Unfortunately, the contents have yet to reflect this jump: we still get a crudely laid-out mix of comics and base humour which is unlikely to be worth $3.25 in the eyes of most magazine buyers. If they could manage to cram more stuff per page (i.e. ditch the opulent 14-point type and massive white spaces) it could look more worth it. This may yet develop into something interesting, but it still has a ways to go. (LR)
