This is the second issue in a series by the creator, the first one was called Chaotic Heart. It’s a very charming little zine, filled with photographs, drawings and text that all seem to have something behind them. The fact that the pictures are photocopied and slightly blurry kind of enhances things, makes the people look like people you might know. Even better is the great love of language behind in the creator’s idea that things can be accomplished if only you “write hard enough.” What a cool idea. I could, however, do without the excerpt from “On the Road,” and the gender issues that are brought up don’t really get addressed and aren’t all that new, but there is some beautiful, poetic writing here. Definitely worth your half-dollar. (Heather Ball)
