Firstly, this is an example of computer layout done right: clean, crisp and uncluttered. As with any chapbook that is contributor based it will be hit and miss, but I’m happy to report that two dollars spent here will allow you take home a nice collection. The standouts include Tammy N. Nantais’ wonderful “Lesson From A Cherry” and “Lesson On How To Eat Orange Sherbet”. They are delightfully playful and scrumptious. Also, Rodney Waschka’s excerpts from “Private Eye Memories” in which he takes the dialogue from works by Chandler, Crumley and a loads them into a computer program and rearranges them to become something close to brilliant.
