Intangible

Intangible

Start by reading editor Wendy Yano’s self_absorbed biography (last page). Yano works at a youth shelter, teaches piano, and has a double major from U of T. Her essay explaining counter_realism barely glosses the surface, but is characteristic of most of the stuff in her zine. Yano makes it clear that she’s extremely busy – maybe too busy to create a decent zine. The fiction in Intangible is completely unremarkable. Read these stories only if you’ve got nothing better to do, if you have time to waste __ if you’re immortal maybe. Two or three of the poets are quite good, however, so if you stumble upon this zine, skip the stories and read the poetry. (KS)
