I like comic zines that provide a little slice of life; those wee instances of being that give a bit of pause for thought. Those “did that really happen” moments. Yeah, I like those little headscratchers, so “I Really Stepped In It This Time” made me pretty happy. Its art is fairly crude, and that turned me off a bit, but that was easy to get over once I got a ltittle connection to the dude of the story. I mean, looking down and realizing how pigeon-toed you are is something I would totally do. And his little adventures are fun to follow. He’s not just writing about the crazy happenings, but the everyday…like having a crush and hanging out with friends. A fun read! (Jon Pressick)
