Here’s What I Think gives us the full account of Aeronwen’s deadbeat dad, fertile mom, and six siblings. This zine starts: “I was born Aeronwen Morgan Kline almost twenty-one years ago. My dad is a Vietnam vet who’s been in and out of jail more times than I can count. My mother is a T.V.-watching, baby-makin’ bum with little or no desire of sparing my ever depleting sanity by getting her tubes tied.” This is basically one long letter from the editor on varied subjects of the personal nature including her bladder, and “the endless pain”. What makes this readable and indeed renewable is its positivity – we can tell that, despite everything, Aeronwen loves her family, knows who she is and uses this zine not to talk about despair, but survival and courage.
