What with the block printed, hand assembled packaging and vaguely ambient band name, I was fully expecting this to be your standard instrumental post-rock. Turns out it’s caffeinated power pop which trades hooks for urgency and builds up a good head of steam without throttling you at high volumes. (Terence Dick)
